🐾 MISSING - RIVER

A message from River’s mom Lexy:
River is a brown, white, and gray male tabby who has been a beloved family member since he was just under six weeks old. Found as a tiny kitten in a box near a creek by the family's oldest son.
Now about a year old, River is strictly an indoor cat who bolted out the front door on May 30, 2026, when a door was accidentally left open during an attempt to crate him for a vet visit. He was last spotted on a home security camera that same day near 134th Ave and Trotter Rd in Largo.
River doesn't warm up easily to strangers and will chase dogs, but call his name and he'll usually meow back like he's trying to have a conversation. His family hasn't stopped looking, and his mom can't even sleep without him curled up beside her.
River is very loved and they are not giving up.
